Appature is part of IMS Health Inc and provides SaaS services for life-sciences companies marketing efforts. Sock Monkey documented their SOAP-based Appature APIs.
WebTrends(2012)
WebTrends provides tools to assess and analyze web traffic for web sites. Sock Monkey provided Information architecture services and helped create a DITA-based web help deliverable.

RPI (2008)
RPI provides OEM services to a number of companies that provide their customers with Kiosks to create books from their digital photos. Sock Monkey created documentation for RPI partners that details the file format (XML schema) and transport protocol procedures.
Port Blakley Tree Farms (8/2006 - 1/2007)
Assisted Port Blakely in assessing need for new GIS system. Helped create specifications for new system.
Avaya (7/2005 - 5/2006, 2/2007 - 12/2007)
During first contract documented scripts, config files, and API for Avaya Proactive Contact system. Also created special book for India regulatory agency detailing Avaya Proactive Contact technical specifications. Second contract included writing a new version of the Avaya Proactive Contact Planning Guide and the Avaya Proactive Contact Installation Guide. Converted all content to DITA, including documents created under first contract..
Rational Software (IBM) (12/2000 - 11/2001) (3/2002 - 8/2002)
Created API documentation for Rational Rose Code Templates and Rational Rose Patterns. Products did not ship. Second contract brought back to revise documents for "new" release.
Onyx Software (3/1999 - 6/1999, 9/2000 - 12/2000)
Both contracts involved documenting the API for Onyx's contact management system.
AT&T Wireless (2/2000 - 8/2000)
Managed a group of 3 contractors creating process documentation. Also served a member of a management team attempting to create unified processes for all AT&T regions for activities such as building cell towers.
Microsoft (9/1998 - 3/1999, 7/1999 - 12/1999)
First contract involved creating Front Page Server Extensions documentation by monitoring network traffic to "catch" server calls. Second contract served as author of GUI section of MS Press book about creating MMC plug-ins.
